Aljazeera - A Different Voice in the World?

As Aljazeera prepares to celebrate its tenth anniversary and the launch of a new English language channel, its editorial leader makes a rare public appearance to outline the Aljazeera view of the way that the Western media covers the Arab and Muslim world.

Ahmed el-Sheikh is editor in chief of Aljazeera.

This next event in this series will take place on Monday 13 November. Sir Christopher Meyer will present a lecture entitled ‘Protecting the Press or the People? ’.
